Construction of the sun island (Zoneiland) in Almere. 520 solar collectors with a total surface of 7000 m2 are going to provide heat and warm water for 2700 houses in the nearby district Noorderplassen-West. This is a project of Nuon and the city of Almere with subsidies of the European Union.
